What is ceramic coating?

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle's surface — paint, PPF, or vinyl wrap — forming a hard, semi-permanent protective layer. Unlike wax that sits on top and washes away, ceramic coating becomes part of the surface. It creates a hydrophobic barrier that repels water, resists UV damage, contaminants, and chemical stains, and keeps your vehicle looking cleaner with significantly less effort.

Professional-grade coatings applied by trained installers are fundamentally different from over-the-counter products. They bond deeper, last years longer, and come with real manufacturer warranties that consumer sprays simply can't offer.

What ceramic coating does NOT do: It will not stop rock chips, dents, or physical paint damage. For that you need paint protection film (PPF). Ceramic is a surface protectant — PPF is impact armor. The two work best together.

What you get

💧

Hydrophobic surface

Water beads and rolls off. Dirt and grime have less to grip onto, so your car stays cleaner between washes.

Enhanced gloss

Adds depth and clarity to your paint or wrap finish. Noticeably richer than an uncoated surface.

🛡️

UV and oxidation protection

Slows paint fade and oxidation from sun exposure. Especially important on darker colors and wraps.

🧼

Easier washing

Contaminants don't bond as easily, so a rinse or gentle wash removes what would normally require scrubbing.

🔬

Chemical resistance

Resists bird droppings, bug acids, road salt, and industrial fallout that etch unprotected paint over time.

📋

Manufacturer warranty

Professional coatings come with documented warranties — not a marketing promise on a consumer bottle.

Coating packages

Call for pricing

We apply ceramic coating on paint, PPF, and vinyl wraps. Each surface requires a specific product and preparation — we'll recommend the right one for your vehicle.

Paint coating

Applied directly to clear coat after paint decontamination and correction. Deep gloss, water beading, and scratch resistance that lasts 3 to 5 years with proper maintenance.

PPF coating

A PPF-compatible ceramic layer applied over film. Enhances clarity, adds hydrophobic protection, and extends the functional life of the film underneath.

Wrap coating

Specialized formula designed for vinyl. Protects the finish, makes the wrap easier to clean, and helps it last longer without affecting the self-healing properties of the film.

Maintenance coating

A lighter annual coating applied over an existing ceramic layer to refresh protection and gloss. Recommended yearly to keep the base coat performing at full strength.

Common questions

How long does ceramic coating last?

Professional coatings typically last 3 to 5 years on paint with proper maintenance. Annual maintenance coatings can extend the life of the base coat significantly. Consumer products rarely last more than a few months.

Does my car need to be prepared before coating?

Yes. The surface must be fully decontaminated and any paint defects corrected before coating. Ceramic coating seals in whatever is underneath it — scratches, swirls, and water spots included. We'll assess your paint before we begin.

Can it go over a wrap?

Yes — with the right product. Wrap-specific ceramic coating formulas are designed to bond properly with vinyl without affecting the finish or self-healing properties of the film.

Do I still need to wash my car?

Yes. Ceramic coating makes washing easier and less frequent, but it doesn't eliminate the need. Use pH-neutral soap, avoid automatic brushed car washes, and rinse regularly to get the most out of your coating.

Is it worth it if I already have PPF?

Absolutely. PPF and ceramic coating do different things. PPF stops physical damage — ceramic goes on top to add hydrophobic performance, gloss, and surface protection. Together they're the most complete protection setup available.

What's the difference between professional and store-bought?

Professional coatings use higher concentrations of SiO2 or SiC that chemically bond to the surface and last years. Store-bought sprays are much more diluted, sit on top rather than bonding, and typically wash off within weeks or months.
