Terms, Warranty
& Policies

We believe in being upfront. Here's everything you need to know about how we work, what we guarantee, and how to protect your investment.

Payment & Booking

Policy

Deposit

A deposit is required to book your appointment and secure your spot on the schedule. Your deposit goes toward your total balance.

Payment Schedule

50% is due at drop-off when the job begins. The remaining balance is due in full at pick-up before the vehicle is released.

Turnaround Time

Most jobs are completed within 24–48 hours. Complex installs, full vehicle wraps, or combined services may take longer. We'll give you an accurate timeframe at booking.

Cancellations

Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment.

No surprises. We'll confirm your quote in writing before any work begins. If something changes mid-job, we'll contact you before proceeding.

Vehicle Condition

Important

The quality of your wrap, PPF, or ceramic coating depends significantly on the condition of your vehicle at drop-off. Please review the following before your appointment.

Paint Condition

We inspect all vehicles before starting work. Pre-existing paint defects, chips, rust, or peeling clear coat will be noted. Vehicles with collision repairs, repainted panels, or non-factory paint may receive a reduced manufacturer warranty. Paint older than approximately 5 years may also affect warranty coverage. We'll disclose this before the job begins.

Cleanliness

Vehicles must be clean and free of wax, sealants, and heavy contamination at drop-off. If your vehicle requires cleaning before we can begin, a detailing fee will be added to your invoice. We'll notify you before proceeding.

Modifications

Aftermarket body kits, custom panels, or non-factory paint may affect installation complexity and pricing. Let us know about any modifications when requesting a quote.

Documentation

We document the condition of your vehicle with photos before work begins. This protects both you and us in the event of any dispute about pre-existing damage.

Workmanship Warranty

Guaranteed

Every job that leaves our shop is backed by a workmanship warranty. This covers installation defects, lifting edges, bubbling, and any issues that result from how the job was done — not from how the vehicle was cared for afterward.

1yrWarranty

Vehicle Wraps

All full and partial vehicle wraps are covered by a 1-year, no-fault workmanship warranty. If something lifts, bubbles, or fails due to installation, we'll fix it. No questions asked.

2yrWarranty

Wrap + Ceramic Coating Combo

When a ceramic coating is applied over a wrap at the time of installation, the workmanship warranty extends to 2 years. The coating protects the vinyl and significantly extends the life of the wrap.

10yrMfr. Warranty

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

XPEL and 3M PPF carry manufacturer warranties of up to 10 years against yellowing, cracking, peeling, and hazing. Our workmanship on PPF installations is also covered for 1 year from the install date.

Mfr.Warranty

Ceramic Coating

Professional-grade ceramic coatings carry manufacturer warranties that vary by product and coating level. We'll provide the specific warranty documentation for your coating at the time of service.

Mfr.Film Warranty

3M & Avery Dennison Wrap Film

The wrap film itself carries a separate manufacturer warranty from 3M or Avery Dennison covering the material against defects, fading, and failure under normal use. This warranty applies to the film product — not the installation labor, which is covered under our workmanship warranty.

NoneNo Warranty

Customer-Supplied Materials

No warranty — workmanship or manufacturer — is provided on installations using materials supplied by the customer. We can only stand behind the quality of materials we source and install ourselves. If you supply your own vinyl, film, or wrap material, the installation is performed as-is with no warranty coverage.

Paint condition affects manufacturer warranty coverage. Vehicles with repainted panels (from a collision repair), aftermarket paint, or paint older than approximately 5 years may qualify for a reduced manufacturer warranty level. Factory original paint in good condition receives full manufacturer warranty coverage. We will assess and disclose this during our pre-install inspection — there are no surprises after the job is done.

What Voids the Warranty

Read This

Our warranty covers defects in installation. It does not cover damage caused by improper care, accidents, or conditions outside our control. The following will void your workmanship warranty:

Automatic or brushed car washes — these cause edge lifting, scratching, and premature failure
High-pressure washing directly at film edges, seams, or panel gaps
Use of abrasive cleaners, petroleum-based products, or solvent-based chemicals on the wrap or film
Attempted removal or modification of the wrap or film by anyone other than Laser Wraps
Physical damage from accidents, road debris impact, vandalism, or environmental events
Prolonged exposure to bird droppings, tree sap, or industrial fallout left untreated
Improper paint condition at the time of installation that was not disclosed prior to the job

How to Care for Your Wrap

Protect Your Investment

Following these guidelines will keep your wrap looking great and ensure your warranty stays intact.

Wait at least 48 hours after installation before washing your vehicle
Hand wash only using a pH-neutral car wash soap and a soft microfiber mitt
Rinse thoroughly with low-to-moderate pressure water — avoid directing spray at edges and seams
Dry with a clean, soft microfiber towel or allow to air dry
Remove bird droppings, bug splatter, and tree sap as soon as possible — do not let them sit
Use wrap-safe or vinyl-safe detailing spray for spot cleaning between washes
Park in a garage or shaded area when possible to reduce UV exposure and heat buildup
If your wrap has a ceramic coating, use a ceramic-safe spray to maintain hydrophobic performance

General Terms

Design approval. For custom print jobs, you will approve a digital proof before we go to print. Once approved, the design is final. Changes requested after printing will be billed at the cost of reprinting.

Color accuracy. We strongly encourage all customers to come in and review physical color samples before finalizing a material selection or approving a print. Colors seen on screen, in photos, or on printed swatches may vary from the finished result due to lighting conditions, surface texture, and material batch differences. Once a material is purchased or a job is printed based on an approved selection, Laser Wraps is not responsible for color variation from digital previews.

Badges, emblems, and trim. Debadging is a standard part of many wrap installations. When badges or emblems are removed, the original adhesive is typically no longer usable. As a result, Laser Wraps does not reinstall factory badges after a wrap. If you would like badges reinstalled, you are responsible for supplying new adhesive or replacement badges — reinstallation may be subject to an additional fee. We are not liable for breakage of pre-existing brittle trim clips, weatherstripping, or exterior plastic parts during installation, particularly on high-mileage or older vehicles. Any such risks will be communicated before work begins.

Photo and marketing release. By leaving your vehicle with Laser Wraps, you grant us permission to photograph the finished work and use those images on our website, social media, and marketing materials. Your personal information will never be shared — only the vehicle and the work.

Warranty claims. To submit a warranty claim, contact us by phone at (972) 442-3332 or by email at Customercare@laserwraps.com. We ask that you bring the vehicle in so we can inspect the issue in person. Warranty work is scheduled based on current availability. We do not cover third-party repair costs for warranty issues that were not first submitted to and assessed by Laser Wraps.

Abandoned vehicles. Vehicles not picked up within 7 days of completion notice will incur a storage fee. Vehicles unclaimed after 30 days may be subject to lien sale in accordance with Texas state law.

Liability. Laser Wraps is not responsible for pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, or interior items left in the vehicle during service. We photograph all vehicles at drop-off to document condition.

Right to refuse. We reserve the right to refuse service on vehicles with paint or body conditions that would compromise the quality of the installation. We'll let you know upfront if this applies.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from services performed by Laser Wraps shall be resolved in Collin County, Texas.

These terms apply to all services performed by Laser Wraps at 704 Parker Rd, Wylie, TX 75098. By scheduling and dropping off your vehicle, you agree to these terms. Questions? Call us at (972) 442-3332 or email Customercare@laserwraps.com.
